MEPs will discuss at noon and vote later in the day on a draft law that aims to make data accessible to start-ups and businesses to stimulate innovation. A press conference with the rapporteur will be held at 10.30, ahead of the plenary debate.


Human rights and democracy: North Korea, Guatemala and Russia

In debates in the evening with High Representative Josep Borrell, Parliament will look into issues related to human rights and democracy in North Korea -including the persecution of religious minorities-, the Republic of Guatemala, and Russia -including the case of Alexey Navalny-. MEPs will vote on three separate resolutions on Thursday.

Cooperation of Europe’s extreme right and separatist movements with Putin
At 15.00, MEPs will debate with the Commission and the Council the cooperation and similarities between the Putin regime and extreme right and separatist movements in Europe. This is a topical debate, as established in Article 162 of the European Parliament’s Rules of Procedure.
