MEPs will discuss with the Commission and the French Presidency the threat by some member states to veto an EU law adopting the global tax agreement establishing a minimum 15% rate for large multinational corporations. A resolution will be put to the vote in the 4-7 July plenary session.

Extension of the EU Digital COVID Certificate legal framework. Parliament is expected to endorse the agreement with member states to prolong the validity of the EU Digital COVID Certificate framework until the summer of 2023, to guarantee the right to free movement in the event, for example, that new variants of concern emerge.

Formal address by Zambian President Hichilema. At 11.00, Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia, will address Parliament.

Parliament is expected to endorse the agreement with member states to prolong the validity of the EU Digital COVID Certificate framework until the summer of 2023, to guarantee the right to free movement in the event, for example, that new variants of concern emerge.
