Rule of law in Hungary and conditionality of EU funding
Immediately after the opening of the session, MEPs will discuss with CommIssioner Reynders, the latest developments in the negotiations with Hungary over the application of the EU’s rule of law conditionality mechanism, as well as the country’s recovery and resilience plan. Plenary will vote on a resolution on Thursday.

Qatar World Cup: debate on human rights
Plenary will assess the situation of human rights in Qatar, host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The alleged deaths of thousands of workers during the construction of football stadiums will feature prominently in the discussion with Commissioner Hahn, as will issues around press freedom, gender equality, and LGTBIQ+ rights.

In brief
Better care of diabetes in the EU. To mark World Diabetes Day, MEPs will discuss with Commissioner Kyriakides how to improve prevention and management of the condition. A resolution will be put to a vote on Wednesday.
